A professional dance theatre company based in Swindon. We devise and perform new works for small and middle scale theatre and outdoor events.
We have recently been developing dance on camera work collaborating with Jaime Bullock of Funkton Films.
Each of the dancers and collaborators are on their own individual creative journey and Swerve reaps the huge benefits of that. Our aim is to create high quality, experimental dance theatre which is exciting and accessible to a wide audience.
We have a wide and developing repertory which can be matched to suit individual projects and venues. We are excited by new ideas and welcome commissions and collaborations.

Swerve is artistically led by Helen Ganberg. In early 2006 there appeared to be a growing number of young trained dancers returning to live in and around Swindon- with a keen interest in performing and creating professional dance work.
The company formed in May 2006 to create its first Swindon Dance commission, which was premiered at the Wyvern Theatre.
